 1. One day you and I will fall to pie ces, and they'll come and swirl to 2. One day you and I will make a pro mise in the void be tween the  geth er till they make up some thing new; and sys tems, in the rest be tween the notes; and  some day, when it's all black holes and ash es, when the dust gets tired of some how, when the world starts up and al ters, e ven though we'll nev er  drift ing, it 'll fall to pie ces too. But no tice, it 'll slight ly shift our course. And  right now there's a pla net on the view screen, we are here and we are 1  listen ing, we are com ing in to land - and it's  night out: take your warm est coat and mit tens; and the day might bring a  differ ence, so, for now, just take my hand. When it  falls a way, I no tice where I stand, but when I'm  stand ing firm, I know just what it's for; and if my  mind be gins to break un der the strain of do ing point less things I  go up to the door and think a lit tle more, and dream a lit tle more a bout how  right now there's a ca fé 'round the cor ner where the morn ing spe cial 2  of fers have the most de light ful tea - and  some day we'll get up a gain and, back to back and hand in hand, we'll  sing a song of know ing how to be.
